Gardevoirs are known for their unwavering loyalty-so when mine broke my heart by seeing someone else behind my back, I was shattered. Especially since it happened after I told her I loved her… and she said she needed time to think. I guess this was her answer. She just didn’t know how to say it.

I left without a word, figuring she’d be better off-and maybe I would, too.

Years later, just as I’m heading to a party, my new landlord-an elegant, mysterious Gardevoir-blocks my door. She says I shouldn’t go. She won’t explain why. All I know is… she’s oddly protective. And far too affectionate for someone I’ve just met.
